¾ C. Soft Shortening 1 C. Brown Sugar ½ C. White Sugar 1 Egg ¼ C. Water 1 C. Flour 1 tsp. Salt ½ tsp. Soda 3 C. Quick Mother’s Oats 1 tsp. Vanilla Preheat oven to 350°. Beat together shortening, sugars, egg, water and vanilla until creamy. Add combined ingredients and mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. And bake at 350°F for 12 minutes.
