Round Steak Sauerbraten

1½ lbs. Round Steak
1 Tbsp. Fat
1 Envelop Brown Gravy Mix
2 C. Water
1 Tbsp. Instant Minced Onion
2 Tbsp. Wine Vinegar
Hot Buttered Noodles
2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
½ tsp. Salt
¼ tsp. Pepper
½ tsp. Ginger
1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 Bay Leaf


Cut meat into 1” squares and brown in large skillet. Remove from skillet; add gravy mix and water, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil. Stir in all ingredients except noodles. Cover and simmer 1½ hours. Remove the bay leaf and serve over hot buttered noodles.
